Raviteja's Balupu in Vijayawada
Contrary to the rumors that Shilpakala Vedika will host the audio release of Ravi Teja-starrer Balupu, the makers have surprised everyone with their move. The film’s director Gopichand Malineni said that the unit is planning to roll out the audio in Vijayawada in April.
Producer Potluri Prasad is planning to lock the audio launch date shortly and release the film in May. Ravi Teja will be seen romancing Shruti Haasan in the film while actress Anjali and Adivi Sesh are playing important roles. Musical scores are by Thaman.

Balupu director’s V-day turns M-day
Tollywood filmmaker, Gopichand Malineni Valentines Day turns to be an important day in his life. Gopi, who directed Don Seenu and Bodyguard, is getting married on Valentines Day.
The director will tie the knot with Shree Satya from West Godavari district, at Eluru, after which he will host a grand reception for the film fraternity in Hyderabad.
Gopichand is currently working on Balupu, starring Ravi Teja, Shruti Haasan and Anjali.

Insiders revealed that the second half of Charan's Naayak will be an ample treat of Amala Paul, while the second half of Sarocharu will be dominated by Bengali siren Richa Gangopadhyay. Cine analysts say that if Kajal continues to star in these half-time flicks, then her market will go down slowly. Because, if in movie the second heroine dominates the show, then our makers will run after her leaving Kajal aside.

Not stopping there the makers have been airing some interview style promos of the flick in the name of 'Unique Publicity Plan' to create hype. Unfortunately, the unclear sound in those promos is taking further toll as none are able to understand them properly. Finally, no press meet or no publicity hungama is worrying distributors and they are right now pressurizing producer Ashwini Dutt to do something.
Except FM stations, none of the media are right now helping 'Sarocharu' to get hype and we have to see what will Raviteja do to taste first success in 2012.

Earlier we have reported about producer Koneru Kiran has bought the Telugu remake rights of Bollywood latest sensation ‘Oh My God’ and is planning to rope Pawan Kalyan and Ravi Teja. For such comical roles, both these star heroes won’t look apt. To make these kinds of subjects with star heroes, director has to first alter the script and include heroism to satisfy the fans without disturbing or deviating from the actual concept.
Best example for such plots is Rajinikanth and Jagapathi Babu’s ‘Kathanayakudu’ which actually was a remake of Malayalam film Kadha Parayumbol. While the original version was a super hit, remake was a disaster. Now, if OMG would be made with Pawan and Ravi Teja…the same result may be repeated. So, makers should better go for other best choice of alternatives. Senior Naresh could the best option for Paresh Rawal role and Rajendra Prasad could be the second best. For Akshay Kumar’s role, any Telugu hero like Allari Naresh or Nani one also can fit into the character.

Zintatha is a popular idiom from Ravi Teja’s super hit movie ‘Vikramarkudu’ directed by Rajamouli. Popular phrases and lines from lyrics are being used as titles these days as they are catchy for audience. MM Keeravani will be scoring the music and movie is going to be launched in January 2013.

Ace Rajamouli, Mass Maha Raja Raviteja combination Vikramarkudu’ film was released in 2006 in which Hero plays a dual role was a super hit in that year.Now the same combination is getting ready to strike with full force once again.
Rajamouli seems to be repeating the same combinations which gave his super success and made him a top director, First it was Prabhas and now Raviteja to follow.After a break Rajamouli is giving final touches to couple of his projects. ‘Mass maharaja’ Ravi Teja’s socio-fantasy movie Daruvu is releasing in Tamil as Bullet Raja. The dubbing works of the movie are almost done and the distributors will announce the release date of the Tamil version shortly.
The film, which has Taapsee as the female lead, failed to rake in good numbers at the Tollywood box office and let’s see whether the Tamil version could do better.Daruvu is directed by Siva who earlier directed super hit Tamil movie Siruthai.

The flop of DCM is affecting CGR in big way. Till the time DCM released the overseas rights of Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu were quoted at Rs 4.5 Cr but now since Devudu Chesina Manushulu didn't do well, the quote has come down to Rs 3 Cr.
Even the distributors in AP are strictly calculating the ins and outs. They are looking to lift an advantage of less price for CGR since Puri's directorial DCM is in dark now.
Now we have to see how Puri will manage this situation. Only Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar Singh image should save this CGR.

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s ‘Devudu Chesina Manushulu’ released yesterday worldwide and got negative reviews. Public who watched the film are saying it as Thokkalo cinema. There is no single part in the movie that is good. Story week, screen play week and there is not even Puri mark punch dialogues in the film. The only positive asset for the film is Raghu Kunche’s music. The audio got excellent response.

'Naakantey goppa vaadini choosi vuntaav.. naakantey edavani choosuntaav.. naalontaadni nenu okkadiney', says Raviteja in the film. This is reminding of Ravi's 'Anjaneyulu' dialogue, 'Naalontodini choodam veru, nannu chooddam veru'. Fans are saying that versatility and punch is missing from Puri's work this time.
Many times dialogues will get popularized when we hear them in theatre in an emotional feel. Listening to them partly in teasers may not give complete kick. Let us wait for movie release before coming to conclusions.

Ravi Teja’s Veera now releasing in Tamily
Ravi Teja, Kajal and Taapsee starrer Veera is now being dubbed in Tamil. Veeraiah is the film’s title in Tamil. Ramesh Varma had directed the film in Telugu and S S Thaman had composed the music. Although the film had failed to click at box office when it released last year in Andhra Pradesh, the presence of Kajal and Taapsee, who are well known in Tamil Nadu, a Tamil film producer came forward to buy the dubbing rights of the film. It’s releasing on August 3. Moreover, Kajal and Taapsee are both in news in Kollywood with Suriya’s Maatran and Ajith’s untitled film respectively lined up for release later this year. So far, Ravi Teja has not acted in a straight Tamil film, although couple of his films like Vikramarkudu and Kick were remade in Tamil.
Ravi Teja’s Sir Osthara goes to Italy
Ravi Teja’s upcoming film Sir Osthara will soon be shot in Italy and Switzerland, as per the latest reports. Ravi Teja, Kajal and Richa Gangopadhyay are playing the lead roles. Parasuram is directing the film and Ashwini Dutt is producing it. The film’s principal shooting began earlier this month in Ooty. Some important scenes were canned on Ravi Teja and Richa. The film’s cinematographer Vijay K Chakravarthy has already flown to Milan, Italy to prepare for the film’s shooting. The rest of the cast is going to join soon. Devi Sri Prasad is going to compose the music.

Goa beauty Ileana says that she is bonding more with people on her movie sets these days. Ileana was known for her aloofness in the early days of her career and the actress herself admits to this. “I never used to mingle well with people on the set earlier. I just used to complete my shot, sit by myself and head home once work is done. But I am interacting more with people these days. I am bonding with them and becoming friends with them. I feel very happy”, she said.
After a short hiatus, Ileana is going to be seen on screen with two big films back to back. First up will be ‘Julayi’, starring Allu Arjun and it will be followed up by ‘Devudu Chesina Manushulu’ with Ravi Teja. Both the films are scheduled for a July release.

Telugu Audiences Are Logic Less: Jagan
The man who defined the mannerism and acting styles of big heroes like Mahesh Babu and Prabhas is now targeting the logic of Telugu audience. Though he is facing severe criticism with his remark, he is trying to defend it.
During the audio release function of 'Devudu Chesina Mnushulu', Puri stated that Telugu audiences are no more looking for logic and are ready for story less films. In fact, he proved this with his previous flick 'Businessman', where there are only intense scenes and gripping narration without a proper story. Puri's point is that audience wants to enjoy a kick for two hours rather than beating heads to understand the cliched story the maker is trying to tell. But, the director should notice that this will not work all the time.
Mahesh is different and Raviteja is different. We cannot expect Businessman magic for Devudu Chesina Manushulu though this film is also made with fight and glamour minus story. However, if the talented director manages victory, he will successfully prove that Telugu audience are logic less.
Don’t look for logic in films: Puri
“Devudu Chesina Manushulu” is surely not one of the most talked-about projects in Tollywood and Puri Jagannath is also tightlipped when it comes to talking about movie. But if you ask the director about the content of the film, he says that these days people are trying to look for logic for characters and their behaviors in the film and it’s tough for the filmmakers to justify.
To further elucidate, Puri Jagannath gave the reference of the film “Yama Leela”, in which Chitragupta (Brahmi) accidentally drops a book “Diva Rahasyam”. And fearing punishment at the hands of Indra, Yama (Satyanarayana) and Chitragupta decide to descend on earth in search of the book. “When the book was dropped no body commented on that and I want you to watch Devudu Chesina Manushulu in the same spirit”, said Puri Jagannath.

The movie will not appeal to Urban audience. The director had intelligently opted for an entertainment script with Ravi Teja but failed in proper execution. However, the movie is certainly better than Ravi Teja’s earlier movies Veera and Nippu.
‘Daruvu’ featuring Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja and Tapsee has been facing hurdle after hurdle for its release.
After postponement for several times, producers finally fixed May 25 for the release. It is on this day that the YSR Congress chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy was summoned to appear before the CBI for questioning. Indications are that he could be arrested on the day. If it happens, then there might be chaotic conditions in the state. There also might be a bandh (closure). If the film is released in such chaos, there would be problem in the openings.
Apart from this, Gabbar Singh is still running to house full collections. It is learnt that producers of the film are now worried about openings for the film. We will have to wait for few more hours to know how far ‘Daruvu’ would get openings on its release.

Ravi Teja, Ileana to fly to Italy
Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja starrer Devudu Chesina Manushulu has wrapped up the talkie part and is left with three songs which are going to be canned on the lead pair Ravi Teja and Ileana in Italy in the next schedule.
Puri Jagannadh is wielding the megaphone for the film and BVSN Prasad is producing the film on the banner of Sri Venkateswara Cinechitra Pvt ltd in association with Reliance entertainments.
The filmmakers are making their efforts to wrap up the film shortly in order to release the film by the announced date June 15. Simultaneously the post-production works of Devudu Chesina Manushulu are taking place at a rapid pace. Raghu Kunche composed the musical scores and Shyam K Naidu is cranking the cinematography.
Daruvu distributor change for Krishna
Mass Maharaja Raviteja, Tapsee's 'Daruvu' in the direction of Siva is releasing on 25th of this month in a grand manner. Burugupalli Siva Rama Krishna is producing the film on Sri Venkateswara Entertainments banner. The film was supposed to be distributed by 14 Reels Entertainment, producers of ‘Dookudu’, in Krishna district but they backed off at the last moment as SS.Rajamouli's graphical adventure 'Eega' is releasing at the same time. Now according to sources Hari Venkateswara Pictures will be distributing the film in Krishna District. The film is coming with a tag line 'Sound of Mass'. Brahmanandam, Shayaji Shinde, Raghubabu, Avinash, Dharmavarapu Subramanyam, MS.Narayana, Prabhu and others feature in the film.
Ravi Teja Going Vulgar With Taapsee
There is always a fine line between going naughty and going vulgar and this is usually seen in films between heroes and heroines. Hero Ravi Teja is one actor who has been known for his mass masala movies and especially his dialogues with his leading ladies. Of course, most of the times, it is done in good humour.
However, in his new movie ‘Daruvu’, it appears that the Mass Maharaja may have gone a little vulgar with his leading lady Taapsee. Recently, few stills of the film were released and one such still showed as though Ravi Teja was literally going to reach the assets of Taapsee.
Even in ‘Racha’ a similar still was revealed showing Charan and Tamannah in one pose. It was as if he is eager to touch Tammu’s assets. Those who saw the stills are saying Ravi Teja is doing things without concern to his age and gauge. Wonder what the senior star has to say to this.

Raviteja is one of the most bankable stars in Telugu cinema that has been labeled as the minimum guarantee hero. Despite an average content, Anjaneyulu ended up as a big loser. Is that going to repeat again for Daruvu? And making the things even troublesome, Rajamouli's Eega is slated for release on 30th May, which is exactly five days away from Daruvu release date. Let's see if Raviteja could pull off a hit amidst severe competition or not?

Ravi Teja, Deeksha Seth starrer Nippu has turned out to be a big disapppointment at box-office. Earlier, we had reported that the film had collected a share of about Rs 35 lakhs in the first four days of release. Although, the trade analysts had predicted that the film was likely to collect Rs 70-80 lakhs in the full run, the latest report seems to be quite discouraging. The film collected a total share of Rs 39 lakhs ever since it released and it?s expected to collect another three lakhs. Directed by Gunasekhar, the film was produced by YVS Chowdary. T-activists stop Ravi Teja shoot
Pro-Telangana activists on Wednesday morning disrupted the shooting of Telugu film Daruvu that stars Ravi Teja and Tapsee.
Armed with sticks and stones, the protestors forcibly enterd the RTC Hospital at Tarnaka and damaged window panes and archlights of the film unit.
The OU police took four persons ? K. Mahesh, the president of Telangana Vidyarthi Aikya Vedka, and students P. Praveen Kumar, M. Naresh, K. Gopi Krishna ? into custody.

Ravi Teja, Puri Jagannath Devudu Chesina Manushulu Launched
Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja and Star director Puri Jagannath?s new film ?Devudu Chesina Manushulu? has formally began with pooja on Friday. Director VV Vinayak sounded the clapper board for the first scene shot on Ravi Teja while Bogapally Bapineedu switched on the camera.
Speaking on the occasion, Ravi Teja said ?This is my fifth film with Jagan. I liked it very much while he was narrating the story, and I am eagerly waiting for the start of the shooting. It is going to be a good entertainer with all types of commercial elements.?
Ileana D Cruz will be playing the female lead role opposite Ravi Teja. Regular shooting will start from the 2nd of March. Makers of the film are planning to release it in summer.
Film?s other key cast members include Prakash Raj, Brahmanandam, Ali, M S Narayana, Kota Sreenivasa Rao and Subba Raju. Music will be composed by Raghu Kunche, Bhaskara Bhatla pens lyrics, Shyam K Naidu will handle the camera while editing will be done by S R Sekhar.
