He come across a patient Chaitanya (ANR), who finds his parents (Seetharamudu and Rama Lakshmi) in Nageswar and Anjali . Why these characters are interconnected?, Who is Chaitanya?, Will Nageswar manage to unite Krishna and Radha ? …forms the story

Performance: Hats Off to the legendary actor Akkineni NagerwaRao’s spell bounding performance , suffering from cancer. His expression, the fresh look on his face, without exhibiting his suffering , makes people to fall in love with the character.

Nagarjuna was good as ever as far as performance is concerned. Naga Chaitanya.has to improve a lot as far as expressions are concerned. The female leads Shriya and Samantha excelled in their roles.Amitabh Bachchan’s little cameo as a doctor and Akhil’s cameo towards the end, gives a exciteentmetfor thefilm. Narayana as Principal Father, Ali as dance master Leonardo DiCaprio, Saptagiri, Posani as SI Dharma, Tejaswi and others have done well. Brahmanandam, Ali and MS Narayana are just ok.

Analysis: Manam, which spans 100 years lying between 1920 and 2020, based on rebirth concept with love and bonding .Vikram Kumar’s script and engrossing narration, Harshavardhan’s dialogues, Anoop Rubens’ music, PS Vinod’s camera work, beautiful lyrics, a few comedy, romantic, action, dance and sentimental scenes, beautiful locales are the highlights of the film.

It’s a complex story told with passion and made it simple . Director Vikram should be given all the credit as far as narration is concerned, without any confusing twists, the director gave excellent screenplay .

Manam has once again taken the present Telugu films to era of classic films, without any double meaning dialogues, item numbers and silly fights and heroism factors. Characters of the story have lived up to make it reality. The climax is well handled which gives a hypnagogic feeling. Overall, Manam is filled with emotions, joy, reunions and Love.

Verdict: Tribute to ANR
