Nandamuri’s die hard admirer, Director, Y.V.S. Chowdary who started his Sri Seetha Ramula Kalyanam Choothamu Raarandi came into limelight through Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo hit and disappeared after Okka Magadu movie with Balakrishna.
The director who tasted success also received the same compliments from Nandamuri fans , is heading to re-uion the Nandamuri herores.
YVS is trying to rope Balakrishna and Jr.NTR for his Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo sequal with a title ‘Krishna Mukunda Murari’.
Sourses say, Hari Krishna who played lead role in Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo is not well to act before camera and suggested Balakrishna in his role.
If everything goes fines, Balakrishna is likely to play a Bachelor uncle role in the film.
All these months, Balakrishna ignored his fitness focusing more on politics. Hence he added weight to his body. Since his next film 'Ruler' is coming up, he is in the process of reducing his weight.
He has to burn calories from last month itself. But due to the constraint of back pain, he couldn't. Now doctors have given green signal to start exercising as it is safe now. So we may see Balayya in new shape soon.
On the other hand director Boyapati Srinivas is exercising on the script by adding elements to make the narration more gripping and powerful that makes every audience happy and not just Nandamuri fans.
Boyapati Seenu, One of the most talented director with good image to his credit, who delivered blockbusters like ‘Bhadra’, ‘Tulasi’ and ‘Simha’. Finally, is all set to direct his next for Nandamuri Balakrishna, the man who delivered serious superhit ‘Simha’ .
Boyapati says, This movie range will match Simha movie and it will have ingredients to fuel Balayya’s image , at the same time it will give a new image to Balakrishna. He said, The movie will be a political thriller with a message for the society.
It is learnt that hot heroines Nayantara and Asin are already booked as leading ladies for the movie Ruler (tentative). This film will be produced by Achanta Gopi and Anil Sunkara under 14 Reels Entertainment.
Of late, Nandamuri Balakrishna is turning hard on his detractors and especially when it comes to migrants like Kodali Nani, he is just blasting them. His two day tour in Krishna District has given new hopes to Telugu desam cadres including some strength.
'Those who are changing the party have got sold out for money. But the cadres supporting Telugu desam party never sold out themselves', said Balayya, taking pot shots indirectly at Kodali Nani. 'TDP cadres have made a lesser known face sit in assembly for the only reason that party high-command has given ticket to him', the mass-action hero added, further intensifying his attack on Nani.
Krishna District people are completely excited and felt elated for Balayya's speeches and presence in the area. It looked like they will make him win with huge majority if at all Balayya contests somewhere in Krishna District.
The TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu is facing multiple problems that threaten to erode his party’s base further.
This time its Balakrishna, who himself wants to become chief minister after the 2014 elections.
He is a staunch believer in astrology. Astrologers predicted that he is destined to become the chief minister after May 2014. His good time , Mahadasha Raj yoga will start in May .
For this reason Balakrishna wants to contest as MLA and his close followers sending feelers to media that Chandra Babu will contest as MP in 2014. But, if the elections are preponed who will become CM is still a million dollar question !.
A star celebrity like Nandamuri Balakrishna has nothing to do except obeying his fans when they are demanding him to tell the truth. So what is that thing they are asking him to talk about?
Clock is ticking days and months ever since his last movie released at Box Office, and there is no latest update about his future projects. While everyone thought that he will do 'Ruler' under Boyapati Seenu's direction, reports are now heard that the project is getting delayed. Few film nagar birds chirped that Balayya will be starting a new project in the direction of a debutant. Whatever it is, only a confirmation from the star hero will satisfy his millions of fans.
Some sources in Nandamuri camp revealed that big-wigs who patronize this popular family are exerting pressure on Balayya to come up with a word for his fans. Reports are being made that the star hero will come up with an announcement on coming Ugadi. So wait for April 11th, to know what Balayya will reveal.
The first pair that comes to mind when we think of ‘Babai-Abbai’ is the duo of Nandamuri Balakrishna and Junior NTR. Over many years, Junior has taken the name of his Babai wherever possible and showed his regard. But today, the situation is looking different and rather disturbing.
strong news is making rounds in media circles about a rift between Balakrishna and Junior NTR. Though Balaiah has made it clear that it is only media creation and nothing more, no statement coming from Junior seems to have cast doubts.
Few circles close to both are also indicating of some difference of opinion. If this issue is true then the next point is, who among the two is right? There is also a political angle to the whole issue but at this point it is very important for both Balaiah and Junior NTR to stick together. If there is a split between the ‘Babai-Abbai’ then the consequences for this will be very high.
Ever since director Boyapati Seenu delivered super flop 'Dammu' with Jr NTR, misfortunes are haunting him in Tollywood. Here is another punch on his face if the reports we hear are true.
Superstar Mahesh and Megapowerstar Charan have rejected the scripts of Boyapati before Balayya gave him a sigh of relief. This powerful 'Simha' combination is heard coming up with another movie titled 'Ruler' very soon. But film nagar reports are indicating that our Nandamuri hero has kept this project on the backburner. He felt like the story-line is not powerful enough to change his fortunes in politics of Andhra Pradesh. Boyapati Seenu is right now working on the script once again to suit Balayya's taste and requirements.
Also there is a talk that Balakrishna will commit a movie under the direction of a new comer. Let us wait for some official news.
To be produced by Ram Achanta, Gopichand Achanta and Anil Sunkara under the banner 14 Reels Entertainment, Balakrishna-starrer ‘Ruler’ (tentatively) will go to floors from mid-may.
The actor who took a break from acting after his last slew of ventures fail to strike gold at the box-office will be seen essaying a powerful role in the film, to be directed by Boyapati Srinu. He had earlier helmed the actor’s successful action-drama ‘Simha’.
The film, currently in pre-production phase, is scheduled to release around Lok Sabha election in 2014.
“Since it’s a political film, the makers want to release it appropriately during the election time next year,” a source said. The other cast and crew are yet to be finalised.
The wait is finally over. After his 97th film 'Srimannarayana' got mixed response at the marquee, Nandamuri Balakrishna's next film has been confirmed and it has been titled as 'Ruler' as buzzed earlier. And the movie is a political-drama which would go on the floors in coming May.
Guess who would wield the megaphone? It is none other than one of his favourite directors- Boyapati Srinu, who gave a blockbuster 'Simha' with the star.
'Dookudu' trio - Ram Achanta, Gopichand Achanta and Anil Sunkara - who are currently producing two films with Mahesh one in Sukumar's direction and the other with Srinu Vytla (tentatively titled 'Aagadu'), will produce this film under the 14 Reels Entertainment banner.
A source from the unit disclosed the news, "Scheduled to release around the general elections in 2014, 'Ruler' will go on the floors from May 15. The film is set against a political backdrop and it has a message as well." However, the lead lady and the rest of the cast and crew will be revealed soon.
Film hero Balakrishna is slowly becoming a Variety Babu for his behaviour these days.
Balakrishna turned into power centre in the Telugu Desam party But, his attitude towards party cadre or his fans seems different these days,Balakrishna who went to meet ChandraBabu took a stay in Kapileshwar Village, knowing this his fans came to that place to have a glimpse of the hero , He came out at 3.30pm in afternoon did not even care to wave at them , enraged fans stopped his car , even-then he rushed the car and left the place.
Earlier at Singer Malavika’s marriage, He slapped a fan and was about to leave the marriage function , but after requests from singer’s family members he attended the marriage.
After 6 years , Rajahmundry beauty Sameera Reddy got a chance to bag a heroine role opposite Balakrishna for his upcoming project.
Sameera who played opposite to NTR in ‘Ashok’ lost offers after movie bombed at box-office , later she was seen in Rana’s KVJ in a Item song, now this dusky beauty, Sameera Reddy will be the leading lady in one of Balakrishna’s film.
She is very excited to be a part of a big Telugu film after a long time. but its not sure in which one of the three projects , she would be seen with Balayya.
Few months back, it was reported that Ram Charan is in talks with Boyapati Seenu for powerful action entertainer Ruler. Due to the reasons best known to the duo, the project has been scrapped forcing the director to look for another star to play the lead.
The latest buzz is about Balakrishna's inclusion into the project. Boyapati narrated the storyline to the Nandamuri hero recently after making few corrections to suit his image by making it a political backdrop film and the actor gave his nod immediately.
While Balayya would be directing his next flick (99th), Boyapati's film (100th) would go to floors in the second half of 2013. Plans were on to release Ruler just before the 2014 General Elections to give a big boost to the morale of fans and party workers.
The combination of Balakrishna and Boyapati rocked the Box Office with Simha which is one of the biggest hits in the Industry. Hope they repeats the magic!
The publicity that is taking place regarding Balayya's upcoming movie looks like throwing stones at a honey bee nest. In this case the nest is a big Hollywood production house.
Industry is abuzz that Nandamuri hero Balayya is secretly working on the script of his long stalled project 'Nartanasala'. While the original subject of this flick happens to be a small story from epic Mahabharatam, there is a rumour that Balayya is making a new story now. Most popular 2D animation movie 'The Lion King' seems to be the inspiration for Balayya and he is just adapting the story from animals to humans. In that case, how come Hollywood production house Disney Studios will sit with folded hands.
Disney will surely fight with our star hero on charges of plagiarism if this film is made on those storylines. Either Balayya should buy some sort of rights from them or he should make some major changes to the script. Let us see what he will do.
Balakrishna’s who is tasting flops has lost faith on Tollywood regular script and landed in Hollywood for better script. His landmark 100th film will be a big-budget action adventure inspired by Disney’s popular animated feature The Lion King (1994). In the T-town version, the scion of the Nandamuri family reportedly plays the role of a king with Nayantara as his queen.
The original story is about Simba, a lion cub who is next in line to be king of the Pride Lands in Africa after his father Mufasa. But the king is killed by his jealous younger brother Scar, who also tricks Simba into leaving the kingdom by convincing the young cub that he is responsible for the death of his father. Years later, a grown-up Simba returns to the Pride Lands to avenge his father’s death and rightfully take his place as king by dethroning his evil uncle. Balakrishna plays the role of a king with Nayantara as his queen and his son Mokshagna might play young King role.
Another highlight of this project is that the star is turning director with this Rs 30 crore extravaganza to be produced by Yalamanchali Saibaba, of Sri Rama Rajyam fame. The film’s shoot is expected to start on June 10, which also happens to be Balakrishna’s birthday.
Tollywood directors were able impress or gain confidence of Balakrishna , who had waited for more than 6 months with out any movie launch, Atlast decided to wear a director cap and handle the craft.
Balakrishna after continuous flops , was very keen in accepting scripts , He had rejected more than 8-10 scripts in last few months and landed in trouble as most of the top directors have abandoned him. With no takers , Balakrishna decided to directed himself as his father Sr.NTR did and prove his talent.
Sources say, Balakrishna has planned a sequel of ‘Biravadeepam’ movie which tends to be a fantasy films. For this , he already roped Nayantara as heroine. Sriramarajyam producer, Y.saibaba will produce the film and the movie might go for rolls this month.
Balakrishna at last accepted to don a police officer role after acting in several Police officer roles in Rowdy inspector & Lakshmi Narashima.
Nandamuri Balakrishna already given green signal as powerful police officer with powerfull dialogues, & action. He will be playing a tough cop in his upcoming movie. The movie will be directed by Chinni Krishna who recently directed Veedu Theda with Nikhil. This movie will go on to sets early in January.
The movie will be produced by Bellamkonda Suresh on his Sri Sai Ganesh movies banner. More details of this project are awaited.
Tollywood hero Balkrishna’s film are known for extras especially when it comes to fight and action sequences & Bollywood super star Salam Khan seems to have inspired from Balakrishna films .
Salam’s latest release Dabangg2 has many such stunts inspired from Balakrishna’s films without any logic showing extras in the fights while dealing with bad boys of the film like with one touch villains flying in air and blasts…etc..
Dabangg2 the squeal of his earlier film Dabangg, has lost its brand by copying bits from south malasa films , Earlier version was directed by Abhinav Kashyap and Danbangg2 by Salma’s brother Arbaaz Khan, thats shows the difference.
The latest buzz in T-town is that Nandamuri Balakrishna is keen to dub his own voice for the Hindi Version of 'Sri Rama Rajyam'.
The makers have said last year that the Bapu's masterpiece film will also be released in Hindi and English too. However, it hasn't had its release. The buzz is that the works in this regard are progressing at a slow pace since producer Yalamanchali Sai Baba is concentrating more on his son's debut film 'Intinta Annamayya' directed by K Raghavendra Rao. The makers have decided to release the film first in Hindi and later in English.
According to the sources Balakrishna, who is known for his Telugu diction and lengthy dialogues would try his hand at dubbing his own lines in Hindi. However, there is no clue whether he would dub for his voice in English. 'Sri Rama Rajyam' has bagged many State and popular awards including six Nandi awards.
Both these superstar Mass heroes have moved their pawns towards politics. While Megastar Chiru is neck deep into politics already, Nandamuri hero Balayya is just entering into those waters. But what about that landmark films fans are waiting for?
Way back in August, his last offering 'Srimannarayana' was released and from then Balayya is busy with politics and Cancer hospital, but not a single announcing is made regarding his movies. If this is the pace he chooses to continue in films, he will be finishing only 99 movies before 2014 elections. In 2014, he is going to contest in the election on TDP ticket and will enter into politics for sure. Afterwards, like Chiru, he too will not be getting any time to finish that 100th one. We have seen how Chiru is struggling to make that prestigious 150th film a reality after his foray into full time politics.
Let's come back to that regular question once again. What is Balayya's new movie and when is it taking off? Let us wish he is going to give a rosy picture to fans in 2013.
Ankita a girl from Anantapur district suffering with Brain cancer from last 6 months was relieved with the helping hand of Balakrishna.

For last two days in media there was discussions about Balakrishna sensational letter which targeted his sister Purandeswari on NTR statue installation in parliament.
Latest we hear that Balakrishna is not aware of the letter released to media. When Purandeswari called him , Balakrishna said that he is not at all aware of the letter, she immediately questioned him why he has not come before the media and say the same ? But Balakrishna was silent .
Nandamuri fans were also angry on Balakrishna for his comments on siblings . Now Balakrishna is very much worried about his relations.
Nandamuri fans for the first time showed their anger of Nandamuri family today in Guntur on NTR’s statue installation in parliament issue.
Guntur Nandamiuri fans protested against Nandamuri family members ,later spoke to media said, its very unfortunate that Nandamuri clam fight for credit on NTR’s statue issue . They demanded Nandamuri family to take a decision NTR statue installation immediately otherwise they would raise funds and make NTR statue installed.
Meanwhile, One more son of NTR came in support of his sister Purandeswari said, his blood is boiling heard statements against her .
Balakrishna may not be able to get hits in the recent few films of his but he has got a very good fan following and many consider him as the best for powerful roles. But the topic now is about Balaiah and his appearance during film related events and other functions.
It is heard from the Nandamuri fans that they want to see Balaiah in his original hair and not in wigs. One of the main reasons his films ‘Adhinayakudu’ and ‘Srimannarayana’ flopped were due to the bad styling done on his costumes and head. Many are expressing that Balaiah is actually more handsome without a wig.
Some of them are planning to approach Balaiah and request him to be his original self and take Rajnikanth as example. But few loyal supporters of Balaiah have countered this stating that the Nandamuri star looks good with his wig on. It is only upto Balaiah to decide whose side he wants to take.
TDP leader ,Tiger Hari Krishna once can made a roar on his brother Balakrishna for his recent letter on NTR statue in parliament.
He said, NTR statue installation in parliament is the dream of every Telugu citizen and their is no need for any involvement of any party or son-in-law’s in this matter. These words were indirectly targeting Chandra Babu who tends to be son-in-law of NTR and Balakrishna yesterday came in defence of Babu and praised for his efforts .
Hari krishna said, The idea of NTR statue installation is of Nandamuri family interest . No one can take credit on this issue.
Tollywood couple popularly known as cartoon couple are once again in news scratching Balakrishna for election tickets.
As the hero of the couple has lost his image and market in Tollywood and his movie release still on waiting list for last 2 years even after completion were very much in news for last few years for their big-mouths.
They have already lost their credibility among parties for their jumping acts in last few years. First they started with TDP next in Congress followed by YSRCP and last tried to join BJP but couldn’t .
This cartoons are once again in touch with Balakrishna as he taken up the charge of TDP . They once again want to come back to TDP and contest in 2014 election on TDP ticket but insiders say Balakrishna showing no interest to entertain them once again.
Well, Nandamuri hero Balakrishna is yet to clarify about his upcoming three flicks, which will make him score a royal 100 in film career. But there are few new rumours regarding that 100th film. Check this story!
Balayya is yet to announce his 98th, 99th films, but there was a big talk earlier about that 100th movie. Rumour mills quoted that the Nandamuri lion will do a historical epic movie as his 100th and that will be in the likes of 'Bhairava Dweepam'. Ace director K Raghavendra Rao's son Prakash was heard preparing script for this visual effects extravaganza. However, latest update about it is that the project will not be Balayya's hundredth film, but it will be his son, Nandamuri scion Mokshagna's debut film.
Already Mokshagna was trained in acting in Mumbai and will be heading to UK now to get trained in martial arts and dances. Nandamuri fans are flying high with this rumour, but we have to see if it will come true or not. But an insider revealed that Balayya's son will make his foray into film in 2014 for sure.
Nandamuri Balakrishna who was known to be Sankranthi hero for many years is once again gearing up for Sankranthi release to take on young heroes with his super hit film , which is all set to release in Andhra Pradesh too.
Super Hit film, Sri Rama Rajyam is heading for a Hindi release. The dubbed version will hit the screens on 11th January . Dubbing and post production is already done for the movie.
Balakrishna as Sri Rama and Nayantara as Seetha might steal the hearts of North audience also. The film’s music is by Ilayaraja. Directed by veteran Bapu.
Krishna district as once said is the central point of Andhra Pradesh politics with group-ism & cold war in all partys highlighted for their identities.
Recently , Cold war between TDP leader Balakrishna and Vijayawada urban party incharge Vallabaneni Vamshi were unclothed in Balakrishna’s visit to Gudivada to attend a Reception of Gudivada incharge Rave.Venkateshwara Rao’s son’s.
Rave was very close to Balakrishna and that the reason he was welcomed back to TDP after Gudivada MLA Kodali Nani was suspended form TDP party and Rave was given charge of Gudivada. Vamshi who is said to be close aide of Nani ahs not attended the function and his supporters also not seen in the function, Buzz that Rave did not invite them for the function as Balakrishna was not interested to meet Vamshi .
Hero Balakrishna after temporal retirement from film is concentrating on TDP politics much these days as he might take a plunge into direct politics by contesting elections to prove himself before 2013 General elections.
Balakrishna who was in Vijayawada , Talking to local media said, He would contest from one of the constituency from Krishna district and the constituency will be announced soon. He also fired on people who left the party for their selfish reasons keeping Kodali Nani in mind.
With the suspension of Gudivada MLA kodali Nani’s, that seat is vacant as of now and Balakrishna would contest from that seat as Gudivada tends to be one of the strong holds of TDP.
Since nothing seems to be going good with Balakrishna for last few years, all his films are bombed at Boxoffice and no takes for his future projects . Thus, in a desperate attempt to change his fate ,Balakrishna decided to change Vaasthu for his house.
It is learnt that N Balakrishna, the star campaigner in the next elections for the party, spent a lot of time at his residence in Road No:1 Banjara Hills along with a famous Vaasthu expert. As per the suggestions of the Vastu expert, some minor changes will be taken up.
It may be recalled that , Balakrishna who played active role in changing Vaasthu of NTR Bhavan like demolishing the existing security guard room and construction of a new one at the main entrance of the NTR Bhavan. But nothing changed in TDP , instead some of its leaders jumped into other party and also lost by elections too.
Nandamuri Balakrishna and his son Mokshagna will be attending the closing ceremony of 43rd IFFI (International Film Festival of India) in Goa. Sources say that Balayya has been invited to be the chief guest for the concluding ceremony and the actor has obliged it.
Apparently, Balayya might take this opportunity to introduce his son to the media since Mokshagna is soon to make his film debut. Remember, Balakrishna’s Sri Rama Rajyam had a special screening at IFFI last year.
While talking with media persons after wrapping his awareness meet at Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital, Balayya was quizzed about his political plans and here comes the answer.
From a couple of weeks that talk in Telugudesam circles is that Balayya will be contesting for Lok Sabha either from Hindupur or from Vijayawada. But the mass-hero is not keen on going to Delhi it seems. 'I'm not going for MP seat. I'll be contesting as MLA. You can confirm that', Balayya said.
Responding on the migrations taking place from TDP into YSR-C, he says that they are quite common. 'Migrations are happening since the times of YSR and we don't care about it', says Balayya, before adding 'Opportunists always come and leave as per their pre planned moves, but that will not affect our party'. The Nandamuri hero looked quite confident about the win of Telugudesam in 2014.
Nandamuri Balakrishna who has completed his 96 films is looking for a director for his 100th films and make it a memorable film for him, for this he was in search of good scripts and directors , at last his search ends at K.Prakesh.
According to sources, Y Saibabu, who produced, Srirama Rajyam with Balakrishna will produce the actor’s 100th film, which will be directed by Prakash son of veteran director K Raghavendra Rao. “After Srirama Rajyam, Balakrishna has apparently asked Saibabu to think of a project for his 100th film, which he immediately agreed to produce,” says the source.
Interestingly, Raghavendra Rao is working on Intinta Annamayya, the debut of Revanth, who is producer Saibabu’s son. Raghevendra Rao , Balakrishna combination never worked out properly as all the films were flops or average , His earlier film Pandurangadu was also a utter flop , that’s the reason Raghavendra Rao dropped from the project to give chance to his son.
Grapevine in the Industry is that TDP leader and NTR's Friend Vallabhaneni Vamsi is all set to produce Nandamuri Balakrishna's upcoming film to be directed by Srivas of Lakshyam and Rama Rama Krishna Krishna fame.
With Vallabhaneni Vamsi's participation, the project has been generating huge buzz in film and political circles. Who is their behind this young & dynamic politician is a million dollar question now? Is this a ploy by Jr NTR and Harikrishna to lure Balayya? May be or Mayn't!
Usually Balayya begins the shoot of his next film immediately after completing the current project, but this time he took a gap of around 4 months. Sources say, the actor is taking his time before giving his nod for 99th and 100th film which will be out in theaters in next one and half years, just before the 2014 polls in which he will be contesting on TDP ticket from one of the constituencies in the state. While Srivas's film will be his 99th, Balakrishna is yet to take a call on his milestone (100th) film.
After series of flop Balakrishna took a break spending his time with TDP and Nadamuri foundation at last decided to give double bonanza by accepting two movie scripts.
Srimannarayana disappointed Balakrishna and his fans because of its weak content , Balakrishna who is waiting for good subjects at last gave a nod to Director Amma Raja Shekar and Boyapati films.
Both these directors know for their mass touch are preparing ground in finalizing their scripts to show case Balakrishana in new getup. One of the movie will be a historic movie. Hope they succeed in their attempts.
From some time, Nandamuri fans are eagerly waiting for the film news of their heartthrob Mass hero Nandamuri Balakrishna. However, there are two such news doing rounds and one of them is scaring them to the core.
Earlier it was reported that Balayya will be teaming up with director Boyapati Seenu, who delivered him a super success after 10 years or so. This made fans to go on cloud nine, but the poor form of Boyapati seenu in NTR's 'Dammu' made them little worried. And now, Balayya camp is spreading the message that the hero will be signing Tamil dance master Amma Rajasekhar for his next. Except 'Ranam', the films directed by Amma Rajasekhar including 'Khatarnak', have tested the patience of Telugu audience and brought negative image for the heroes. So, what will he do to Balayya now?
Nandamuri fans are upset as to why their hero is not selecting some happening directors in tinsel town to give them a stupendous treat. Only Balayya should tell the answer!
A general opinion among the Tollywood members is that Nandamuri Balakrishna is very particular about the heroines of his films. There is a common sentiment that he must have three heroines in every film of his as it brings him success. But there is a different problem which has caught Balayya now.
It is heard that Balakrishna is on a serious lookout for someone who can essay the role of Draupadi as he wants to remake the black and white masterpiece ‘Narthanasala’. But the problem is, he is unable to forget actress Soundarya. At one time, the film took off with Soundarya in it but her untimely death disturbed everything and Balayya called off everything.
The remake of ‘Narthanasala’ has been his dream project and he wants to do it at any cost. But with Soundarya creating a strong impression on him, it is heard that Balayya is unable to get the right replacement for Soundarya who can do the role of Draupadi convincingly.
Nandamuri fans have been waiting for long wondering when their Simha will roar back on silver screen. However their wait seems to be ending as film nagar sources inform that Natasimha Balakrishna have given green signal to star under the direction of Satya who will be making his debut. Manohar will be producing the film on Mahatma Movies banner. Stay tuned for the latest updates on Balayya film.
Successful duo writer pair of Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan are getting ready to team up again for Balakrishn’s new untitled film. This is first time these writers are doing a project for hero Balakrishna. This news was confirmed by writer Kona Venkat in his Twitter account as, Me & Gopi Mohan soon are teaming up once again to do a movie with Balakrishna for the first time. We will let u know the details soon We are planing to go with an entire new team and a new theme for Balayya Kona and Gopi has already scored three hits so far in this year in Tollywood. This busy writers have agreed to write story and dialogues for Balayya, bcoz of respect that they have for him and Nandamuri family.
Things have not been the same since quite sometime for Nandamuri Balakrishna. At a time when he was considered the best mass hero among the senior actors, Balayya has been scoring only flops and nothing else. In the recent past, it was only ‘Simha’ which created a huge wave but the rest failed.
Few members from the Nandamuri camp have revealed that Balayya has gone through a lot of introspection after the debacle of ‘Adhinayakudu’ and he has taken a U-turn in his decision. Sources say Balayya has decided to go in for contemporary script writers and choose subjects which can show a strong mass appeal in him.
He is reportedly looking at characters which are larger than life because his image as a lecturer or a journalist is not really working out. Also, there is news that Balayya would be getting into a fitness regime to cut down all the flab and look more young and fresh. Best of luck for this Balayya!
When there is a lot of buzz around a star hero and that hero fails to live up to expectations by not even staying in news, what happens? Ask Nandamuri fans if you have the same doubt!
Even though a star hero, one requires constantly to stay in news to enthral their fans. And, that too for a hero like Balayya who carries a family legacy, they are very important. Either from political side or movie side, there is no news from this hero's camp. Balayya has announced earlier that he will take 3 months rest before picking his next flick. But, fans are unhappy with no news or at least a rumour not coming out about Balayya's next movies. When there is a huge buzz about all other heroes and movies, why there is no news about Balayya, mailed a hardcore fan.
Critics say that if there is any discussion going on about any new film, then rumours or news will spread. So, the ball is in Balayya's court now!
Nandamuri Balakrishna who was quite active and energetic over the past two to three years has slowed down a lot. This is in terms of his signing films. He was last seen in ‘Srimannarayana’ which became another disaster in his career. After that, he didn’t touch any new project and is sitting quiet as no director approaching him to sign projects.
But it is heard that one senior retired director is really getting patience tested because of Balayya. He is Singeetam Srinivasa Rao. Inside sources say Singeetam wanted to commence the shooting of his film ‘Aditya 999' which is the remake of his big hit ‘Aditya 369'. Even the original had Balayya in the lead.
But the problem is, Balayya is reportedly postponing the aspect of shooting and this is getting onto the nerves of the old director. What is going on in Balayya’s head no one knows but one information from Nandamuri circles is he is going to change track and do films which benefit his political future and some other say he unofficially announced his voluntary retirement.
Nandamuri Balakrishna has been facing tough times with continuous flops. His last release ‘Srimannarayana’ also ended as a disaster. More than Balayya, his fans are unhappy with this. They waited till long time for a big hit, which wasn’t happened yet. Now, Balakrishna decided to foray into politics in 2014 and may not do more than 2-3 movies. As per a source, Balayya is also irked with latest happenings and is not showing interest towards signing of new projects.
Long back, Balakrishna promised to introduce his son Mokshagna into films after completion of studies (may be in 2014). Nandamuri fans recently registered a fans association for their next generation Nandamuri hero and also named him as ‘Young Lion’. Both Balayya’s political entry and Mokshagna’s cinema entry would be in the same year. It is a big question whether Balayya fans can wait till 2014 or not?
Director Ravi Chawli, who made Srimannarayana with leading Tollywod star Balakrishna, claims that the seasoned actor is a director’s actor and quite like a student. “He is obedient on the sets and gives complete freedom to director. Once he approves the scripts, he doesn’t even suggest corrections later on. It’s such a delight to work with such a dedicated actor,” says the director, who is planning another big film with another top hero. “I’ll let you know soon, as I’m still enjoying the success of Srimannarayana,” he add
Balakrishna's flop spree hasn't ended yet. Srimannarayana joined that list of Balakrishna. To be precise, Balakrishna had just one hit to his credit in the last eight years. He has been repeating the same mistakes by choosing weak subjects that doesn't appeal to any section of the audiences.
However, the main reason for Balakrishna's failures is his choice of directors. Except for Boyapati Srinu all the directors that made movies with Balakrishna in the recent past were either veterans who doesn't know the current trend or directors who have been struggling to find a hit. What are the main things that Balakrishna considers before signing up a film or director are unknown.
Whatever they may be Balakrishna has been making bad decisions one after the other and he has driven himself into a position where only a blockbuster could bail him out. Balakrishna has taken a break after Srimannarayana and we hope that he chooses a good story and capable director this time. Come on Balayya, your fans have been dying to see you bounce back.
Nandamuri family and Manchu family have been maintaining good and healthy relationship from long time. Legendary actor Senior NTR and Mohan Babu had acted in several films and the collection king was the active leader in TDP, during the party in ruling. Mohan Babu then has a good relationship with Balakrishna also. Taking this as advantage Munchu family making bakra of Nadamuri family.
Nandamuri heroes are very innocent ,if some one praise them they will do any thing for them, Taking this as advantage Manchu family who are in financial losses to sell their next movie, making distributors also fools by mentioning Nandamuri names attached to them so that their movie gets a good business. Recently, they roped Balayya Babu who played important role in Manchu Manoj’s socio fantasy Uu Kodathara Ulikki Padathara which was a utter flop off- course.
Now, if sources are to be believed Mohan Babu is planning a multi-starrer with his elder son Manchu Vishnu and Young Tiger Junior NTR playing lead roles. We know that, both NTR and Vishnu are good friends and there is a buzz that, NTR is playing a cameo role in his friend’s latest film ‘Denikaina Ready’. Mohan Babu is planning the movie with high budget and he is trying everything to make their sons top stars.
Upon the assurance from Nandamuri Balakrishna, former MLA Raavi Venkaswara Rao who quit TDP before before 2009 General elections is all to join the party in the presence of Chandrababu Naidu on Monday.
Raavi won as an MLA from Gudiwada constituency. Even his father Shobhanaadri was elected as legislator twice from the same constituency. So, Raavi's family have a strong foothold in Gudiwada. Upset with Chandrababu's decision to gave the party ticket for the second consecutive time to Kodali Nani in 2009 polls due to pressure mounted by Jr NTR, Raavi resigned from TDP and joined Praja Rajyam Party floated by Chiranjeevi.
Kodali Nani's exit from TDP has opened doors for Raavi. Balayya's word assuring the Gudiwada party ticket in 2014 polls if comes back to the parent party has done wonders. TDP leaders were appreciating the initiative taken by Balakrishna in bringing back a strong leader like Raavi to the party.
Raavi's entry will boost the morale of TDP workers in Gudiwada. With Raavi in field and Balayya taking Gudiwada constituency as a prestige issue, the victory in 2014 will not be a cake walk for Kodali Nani.
Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Srimannarayana protest at Arjun 70 MM is a publicity stunt say film pundits.
Srimannarayan got a average talk and the collections very not at all encouraging despite of series of press meets and interviews. In order to gain public attention which was over shaowded by Nagarjuna’s Shirdi Sai release , the makers came on to roads in form of protest looked cheap which never happened in recent times. For just one theatre they created a mess as if they run into loss in crores. Their demand is also not a valid one and film chamber were helpless.
Makers already knew the fact of theater agreement and agreements cannot be violated. But, will this publicty stunt help the movie collection is still unanswered .Lets see if it really works.
Nandamuri Balakrishna’s prestigious 100th movie director was the hot discussion going on in filmnagar all these days , With all the leading director like Rajamouli, VV.Vinayak ,Raghavendra Rao ..etc taking back step to direct his 100th film, A void was created among Nandamuri fans about his film .
To end this suspense Natasimha Balakrishna okayed a story under the direction of legendary director Raghavendra Rao’s son Surya Prakash.Surya Prakash is a well-known face to the tollyood with his movies Netho and Morning Raga. He also directed the movie Anaganaga Oka Dheerudu, starring Sidhardha, Sruti Hasan and Manchu Lakshmi.
Since the movie will be Balakrishna’s 100th movie, his fans have developed high expectations on the movie. Let us see how this son of a legandary director carries out his father and his grandfather, the great director K.S.Prakash Rao’s legacy.
In the success meet of Srimannarayana Balakrishna exhibited one of his rare talent and surprised every one with his unique talent
Balakrishna as an actor who can deliver mass masala dialogues in the recent success meet of Srimannarayana ,Balakrishna surprised everyone with his singing performance. Balakrishna sang the song ‘Chalaki Chupulathone’ which was quite unexpectedly by all. All Audience cheers and claps towards Balakrishna song. Balakrishna appreciated director Ravi Chavali for bringing out the story like this to me said Balakrishna.
Fans are eagerly waiting to see Balakrishna singing a play back song in his next movie , Let hope he tries it and entertain in loving fans.
Balakrishna’s ‘Srimannarayana’ released few days ago, the movie opened with good decent collections but later collections fell to very low from monday. At Domestic BO the movie collection were less than 30% on average in week days. At overseas it has collected just $16k+ means around Rs.9 lakhs for is first weekend and the business is almost closed . Srimannarayana declared as disaster at USA with huge losses for distributors Hari Venkateswara Pictures which took ‘Srimannarayana’ overseas rights for 25lakhs .
Isha Chawla and Parvathi Melton played lead heroines and both oozed more glamour. Isha even kissed Balayya in a song and the actress was appreciated by many. The film’s subject is not new and the director failed to provide full entertainment. Srimannarayana couldn’t even satisfy Balayya fans fully. Chakri’s music and Balakrishna’s performance are the major assets. The film is in the lines of director Ravi Chavali’s debut film ‘Samanyudu’ and this we reported earlier in pre-release report.
Balakrishna is not like other stars , He has read the statutory warning on screen about smoking being injurious to health, drawing loud cheers from the fans thronging the theatres for his latest film Srimannarayana. Although, it has become mandatory for producers to show this warning, it is usually done by dubbing artistes. However, Balakrishna insisted on reading out the two-line message prior to the beginning of the film , this shows his commitment . “Other stars may also follow suit and encourage their respective fans to quit smoking,”.
On the flip side, the same Balakrishna said that “poga tagani vadu dunnapotai puttun” ”Those who don’t smoke will take rebirth as male buffalo” in Krishna Reddy’s Top Hero movie.
Natasimha Nandamuri Balakrishna’s recent release ‘Srimannarayana’ has been doing decent business at BO. Beautiful actress Isha Chawla played lead heroine and she got good role to perform. Some said that, Isha is the lucky girl to get the star hero film in career starting stages, though the actress proved that she is worth for the role with her superb performance. Now, everybody has been appreciating the actress.
Isha oozed more glamour for the film and Balakrishna who impressed with her giving the actress another chance. If the latest grapevine is to be believed Isha Chawla has been confirmed as lead heroine in Balakrishna’s next project ‘Aditya 999’, to be directed by Singeetham Srinivasa Rao. It is heard that, Balayya is who suggested Isha name for the makers. The film is expected to go on floors soon. Meanwhile, Isha is becoming busy actress signing good projects. Great Going Isha!
Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Srimannarayana released few days ago has got decent response all over. Balayya will next star in socio fantasy film Aditya 999 to be directed by Singeetham Srinivasa Rao. Few days ago, we reported that Balakrishna signed a new project with flop director Teja. Now, the latest is this one titled as ‘Raithu’ will go on floors only after Balayya completing Aditya 999. In the mean time, Teja will complete his new film with Sairam Shankar.
Balakrishna few days ago announced that, he will be entering into politics at any time. As per a source, Balayya will contest for legislative assembly elections in 2014. So, he wants to quit films after doing his 100th project and announcing Mokshagna as his Nata Varasudu. In this context, Teja has readied a political subject for Balakrishna. The film is about a leader who fights for poor farmers and sacrifices his personal life for them. Balayya might target 2014 elections with his Raithu film.
Nandamuri Balakrishna and Mahesh Babu have one thing in common. Both have been the top heroes of their own time. But there is also a difference. Balayya belongs to a different time and age than Mahesh. So, it can never be possible that Balayya can become like Mahesh Babu or vice-versa.
But that’s where things went wrong. Apparently, this is the criticism coming after watching the recent release ‘Srimannarayana’. The focus was on the costumes for Balayya and the kind of dresses he wore in the songs was absurd. Usually Mahesh wears such things and he carries them off in style.
On the contrary, how can Balayya who has passed his prime and has a personality which is rather wide compared to Mahesh fit into it? Of course, it is not Balayya’s fault. It is the fault of the director and the costume designer who suggested such outfits. Anyways, let us hope Balayya doesn’t repeat such mistakes in his future flicks.

In the case of cinema field, Nandamuri family is united but politically they are divided. As per the latest reliable information, nothing is going well between Nandamuri brothers Balakrishna and Harikrishna. The major reason for their tiff is Junior NTR. Reports say that Harikrishna is not happy with his brother Balakrishna as he is not supporting his son NTR. After Nara Chandra Babu Naidu’s son Lokesh marrying Balayya’s daughter Brahmani, perhaps Balakrishna is keeping away from NTR following his brother-in-law’s instructions. Balakrishna did not accept a multi starrer project with Jr. NTR but agreed for Kshatreeyulu with Nara Rohit and UKUP with Manchu family.
Harikrishna irked with his brother’s behavior asked him to change the mind set towards Jr. NTR and argued with him seriously over phone. Harikrishna has earlier tried to convince Balakrishna on the united strength of Nandamuri family but at this stage Balakrishna is completely surrendered to Naidu. From then on, both these Nandamuri brothers are not talking to each other.

Balaiah’s movie Srimannarayana is getting reday for release this month. This film has completed its shooting in just 84 days. Yesterday this film has grandly made triple platinum disk function in Hyderabad. The trailer which was released in YouTube is entertaining Nandamuri fans. Usually, the dialogues dosage of Nandamuri heroes movies will be very high which will be liked by their fans a lot and Srimannarayana is not an exception for that.
These are some of the dialogues in Srimannarayana for Balakrishna’s fans.
1) Cheppadam lo confusion vundadu… Kottadam lo compromise vundadu
2) Nuvvu transformer Ni touch chesav…. K*****a Masayipothaav…
3) Kadapa seven road centre okay Na… Ananthapur sapthagiri circle, Kurnool Konda Reddy buruju…Vijayawada Benz circle… Karimnagar Kashmir Katta… Leda dhoolpet… Teri sher ka adda
4) Baadha taniki Bio Data Deniki Ra.
Balakrishna's Srimannarayana is all set to hit the marquee on this Thursday and the buzz is slowly starting to pick. Nandamuri fans are betting big on this film. They are planning to screen huge number of benefit shows on the release day as they have a gut feeling that it would work. Yellow Flowers banner has a decent track record, which makes them to believe that Srimannarayana would have decent content.
The biggest factor that is going to work in favor of Srimannarayana is it is the only film that is targeted at masses in the last three months. After Gabbar Singh none of the movies really enthralled the masses with powerful dialogues and masala elements. Eega and Julayi have been successful, but they are not lapped up by the masses like Gabbar Singh.
Gabbar Singh was a unanimous hit in all the areas. Masses and classes liked it equally. Srimannarayana targets the same audiences. Even if it falls short in the class areas and cities, it can surely entertain masses and in that case it could become another Racha if not Gabbar Singh. Saying so, Srimannarayana should be backed up by decent content to get fully benefited by the timing of release. Hope Ravi Chavali packed it with enough to pull the masses to the theaters.

Balakrishna Movies after Simha no other moive got good openings. Balakrishna is also now going to reach 100 movies mark in Tollywood at this time he also needs to have a strong hit to stay in Competition.
Today, the censor board has taken a shocking decision. According to it, the ‘A’ certified movies will not be re-certified for screening in TV channels. This declaration is made by Board in accordance with provisions of the 1952 Cinematography Act. Entire Industry and film lovers are shocked with the decision. With this new decision of Censor Board, film makers who received Adult certificate from board will be loosing plenty of money in the form of satellite rights.
We know that, Balakrishna’s upcoming movie Srimannarayana got an A certificate very recently. So, with this new decision of Censor, the makers of Srimannaraya are shivering as they will loose money of satellite rights as they did not sell off. They even might go for re-censoring but this would be a sucidal for makers as most of the story building part might get deleted with censor cuts and also movie release date is just 3days from now, it wont be possible for them at this time. Either they need to postpone the release for re censoring or lose satellite rights .We need to wait and see, how industry responds on this issue. Not only Srimannaraya, in the recent times many star hero films received A certificate.
Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘Srimannarayana’ has completed censor and obtained A certificate by the censor board.Things are now all clear for a release on August 30th.
Makers of this movie already confirmed about the Platinum disc function on 26th August.
Chakri’s music and Balayya mass dialogues from teasers have already raised the expectations on the movie. Isha Chawla and Parvathi Melton acting as female leads, this movie is directed by Ravikumar Chavali under Yellow Flowers banner.
Last three months box office tremble with balakrishna movies only. In June he released his adhinayakudu and in July he came with Uu kodarata Ulikki padatara and in this month he is coming with Srimanarayana.
Now after Srimanarayana release in which Movie will Will Act? Balakrishna planned Aditya 369 Sequel as Aditya 999 in the direction of Singeetam Srinivasa Rao and he Arranged the Story as Well but the movie is Socio fantasy and use of graphics is more in this movie finally movie budget reaches to Crest. The Producer is in dilemma on this massive budget. Finally the Sequel Time Mission is in Reverse Gear.
In the Past balakrishna Started a Movie with Bellamkonda Suresh in the direction of B Gopal but the Story was Not Decided as per the Convince. So the Movie is being delayed Now Bellamkonda is planning same movie with Balakrihna in the direction of VV Vinayak.
After three movie is 2012 Now Balakrishna is Taking Some Rest If the Director is Confirmed for his next movie likewise Srimanarayana, He will complete the movie in Ultra Speed.
Aim of a Tollywood Director is Satisfy Nandamuri Fans and Mega Fans. This is Not a Small Issue for Directors Now a Days. There are Directors Which Gives Rocking Hits to Both the Families. Rajamouli, Vinayak, Puri Jagannath and Srinu Vailtla these directors are very Intelligent They Make hits with Both the Familes and Satisfied Their Fans.
VV Vinayak is Most Experienced Director Among All those. He Directed All the Hero’s in both Families Expect Pawan. There is a Special Relationship Vinayak and Nandamuri Family. As per the Tollywood News VV Vinayak is Going to Direct Balakrishna After Cherry’s Moive. Bellamkonda Suresh is the Producer of the Movie.
Previous Chennakesava Reddy is Not a Block Buster For Balakrishna But Convinced Lot of Audience as a Hit. And No Words For Fans Talks. In that Movie VV Vinayak Showed Balakrishna with New Angle. If This Combination is Announced the Expectations for Starting Day Reaches the Crest.
Nata Simham Balakrishna is going to turn Tiger soon! As per the buzz, Balakrishna is interested in remaking Ek Tha Tiger, the latest blockbuster of Salman Khan. Balakrishna has been hearing many stories of late as he wanted to make his hundredth film a memorable one at the box office. He is desperately looking for a blockbuster and hence is not being satisfied with half baked scripts.
Balakrishna wants something solid to prove his stamina again. He wanted that film to be a sensation as he is planning to enter politics right after completing a century of films. There has been talk in Telugu media that Ek Tha Tiger looks like a formulaic Balakrishna's film. There are many scenes that our audiences feel that Balakrishna is the right fit for this role.
With subtle changes to the script by adding extra mass masala elements, ETT will be apt for Balakrishna they say. Even Balakrishna heard of this and is showing interest in remaking it. Let's wait for some more time to find if there is any fact in this rumor. Meanwhile please leave a comment if ETT is powerful enough to be Balakrishna's landmark film or not.
Natasimha Nandamuri Balakrishna is presently waiting for the release of ‘Srimannarayana’ which is slated to release in the last week of August. Ravi Chawali is directing the film while Ramesh Puppala is producing it. Isha Chawla and Parvathi Melton are female leads in the film. This is the third film for Isha and her earlier films Prema Kavali and Poola Rangadu are good hits at BO.
Now, it is heard that, Balakrishna who impressed with this lucky girl’s performance decided to romance her for the second time for next film. We know that, Balakrishna will next star in Singeetham Srinivasa Rao’s socio fantasy ‘Aditya 999’, remake of super hit Aditya 369. This film will go on floors from September. Meanwhile, Isha Chawla is presently doing- Radha Krishnudu and a Kannada film ‘Viraat’. If Srimannarayana scores hit, Isha will join the top league
Sad news for Nandamuri fans, After strategically introducing his son Mokshagna at the audio launch of Srimanarayana, actor Balakrishna has said that his son would definitely make his acting debut in the next three or four years. “He is showing some interest in acting and we could introduce him in three or four years’ time since he is just 15-years-old now,” said Balakrishna at a press briefing.
After Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna’s sons, it looks like Balakrishna’s son is next in line to enter Tollywood. Nandamuri fans were eagerly waiting for the day of Mokshagna’s launch . However, his entry could negatively impact his cousin Jr NTR since he might pull away a big chunk of the young Nandamuri’s fans.
Narasimham is a hardcore Balakrishna fan from YSR Kadapa district who does Milk and Cattle business. He wanted to venture in to movie distribution. He expected to enter through Balakrishna and Manchu Manoj’s Uu Kodathara Ulikki Padathara. When he approached Manchu family, they have quoted 2.5C for the Ceeded region rights which is very high by any means. Then comes the news, the movie was screened to distributors in Chennai and the movie is a super duper hit. Narasimham was tempted and bought the movie. After the payment of 2.3C was made, Mohan Babu had urged for extra 20 Lakh payment and got it from Narasimham blackmailing him about not giving the movie prints. All this after cashing the 2.3C cheque.
After this, the positive talk about the movie spread like a wildfire. Then comes senior most distributor Suresh Babu in to the picture. He pacified the new distributor lending his experience in movie distribution. He released the movie in Ceeded through Suresh movies. If the movie went on to become a hit as expected, Narasimham would have been kicked out of the picture. But things turned topsy turvy, the movie registered outright disastrous talk. After the first week of the release, Collection copy was sent to Narasimham meaning he will have to bear the loss of the venture.
Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Srimannarayana is all set to release worldwide in the last week of August. The movie is currently in post production phase. We have got an interesting update regarding the movie. Balakrishna is a journalist in the movie in which he fights different problems encountered by the society. In the process, he gets in to tangle with six villains Suresh, Vinod Kumar, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Jaya Prakash Reddy, Nagineedu and Supreeth. The director had reportedly shot a superb fight between Balayya and these 6 baddies which according to him is the major highlight of the film.
Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Srimannarayana will be releasing in the last week of August. The word ’Sri ‘means Lakshmi sentiment in his movie titles should be working fine as all the four movies in his career starting with ‘Sri’ scored hits. His earlier films like Sri Madvirata Parvam, Sri Tirupati Venkateswara Kalyanam (as child artist) and latest film Sri Rama Rajyam were hits This film, which has its music launch recently, is now gearing to hit the screens this month, although no date has been finalized according to the production house.
Producer Ramesh Puppala said that his second production (first being Ravi Teja-starrer Mirayapakaya) has come out very well and exudes confidence that the film will be one of the biggest grosser in Balayya’s career. The music of the movie has received good response and the makers are now planning to release Srimannarayana in the last week of August worldwide.
Srimannarayana has Isha Chawla and Parvathi Melton as the female leads and is directed by Ravi Chavali. Chakri has composed the music.
Natasimha Nandamuri Balakrishna’s last release ‘Uu Kodathara Ulikki Padathara’ collections have been decreasing gradually. Now, Bayya Babu is coming up with his upcoming film ‘Srimannarayana’, which is expected to release on August 24th. The movie will have to face tough competition from Sudden Star Allari Naresh’s ‘Sudigadu’, which is also releasing on same day with ‘Srimnnarayana’. Now, as per the latest reports, the makers of Srimannarayana are planning to postpone their movie to next month to avoid the clash with this sensation movie.
Sudigadu trailer which released few days ago got immense response. The film is a remake of Tamil super hit movie ‘Thamizh Padam’, which collected Rs. 45 crores. The Tamil version released as a small film but did the business like a star hero film. According to the inner sources, Srimannarayana would release in first week of September. Ravi Chavali is directing the film and Ramesh Puppala is producing it. Parvathi Melton and Isha Chawla are female leads in the film. Chakri scored the music and the audio got decent response.
Tollywood has always been proud of the Big 4. They are considered to be the pillars of stardom in Telugu. They are megastar Chiranjeevi, Nandamuri Balakrishna, Nagarjuna and victory Venkatesh. While Nag and Venky are still going strong as young heroes, Balayya is slowly graduating to more matured roles.
Now, the big discussion happening among the cine and trade circles is which will be a bigger hit - Balakrishna's 100th film or Chiranjeevi's 150th film. The talk is strong that Chiru will surely return to films to complete the milestone project while Balayya has already completed 96 films.
As expected, both the projects are prestigious and a lot of efforts and preparation will go behind this. But then, will today's audience receive these senior heroes like before? Can Balayya and Chiru deliver that same impact like they used to in their glory days? Or will both score big blockbusters? Let us wait and see..
Who is going to direct Balakrishna's 100th film? Balayya fans are waiting eagerly to know the answer for this question. After Rajamouli publicly stating that he won't direct Balakrishna's hundredth film, focus shifted to Vinayak, who earlier made Chenna Kesava Reddy with the super star. Vinayak has prior commitments and he may not be available to do the honors.
Right now only option that looks better than any other is Boyapati Srinu, the man who made Simha with Balakrishna. Boyapati hasn't yet committed to do any film after the debacle of Dammu. There are proposals from Mahesh and Charan, but both of them are busy with other projects. So Boyapati is still waiting to sign up his next.
All eyes are on Balakrishna's son Mokshagna, who looks dashing and capable enough to take their dynasty's legacy ahead. Mokshagna is in mid teens and he might make his debut anytime in the next three years. Sources say that he is being trained for the task. So who will be the lucky man to launch Mokshagna?
Industry buzz reads that Mokshagna might make his debut under Vyjayanthi Movies. Producer Aswini Dutt has a golden touch in launching star kids. Mahesh and Charan made debut in Vyjayanthi banner and went on to become superstars. Aswini Dutt also has his share in NTR and Bunny's first success.
Aswini Dutt has already approached Balakrishna with a proposal to launch Mokshagna in a grand way. Balakrishna, who believes in such sentiments, is more than convinced to launch his son under Vyjayanthi Movies it seems. If Aswini Dutt gets the chance to launch Mokshagna then who will be the director? Nandamuri Mokshagna has certainly become the interesting topic in tinsel town now.
Firebrand director Teja is very popular for introducing new talent including actors, actresses and technicians in his movies. He is known to take fresh faces for most of his movies which are usually low budget. He tasted success initially for movies like Nuvvu Nenu and Jayam on his banner Chitram movies. Occasionally he works with established stars like Mahesh Babu in Nijam and Jagapathi Babu in Family Circus.
After tasting several flops working with new faces in movies like Keka, Teja seems to have reworked his strategy and was looking to work with established stars to get success. Incidentally, he impressed none other than Top League star Balayya with his story. He narrated the story of Rythu to Balayya who liked it very much. If Balayya agrees to the film, Teja will be back in the big league and will get the much awaited attention in Tollywood.
Balakrishna, his son Mokshagna too attended the event. This is the first time both of them sat together for hours.
Star hero Sunil, director Boyapati Seenu, B.Gopal, Gopichand Malineni and Harish Shankar are also present.
Music director Chakri, lyricist Chandrabose and veteran actor Kota are the next big attentions on the dais along with heroines Isha Chawla, Madhavi Latha and Catherin Tresa. Noted producer Atchi Reddy, Ambica Krishna, Raja Ravindra are also present.
Producer Ramesh Puppala thanked Balayya for giving him the opportunity to produce this film. He expressed complete confidence on director Ravi Chawali’s work and applauded Chakri’s music before expressing his wish that the film will become a big hit of 2012.
Star hero Sunil stood as special attraction with his loyal words for Balayya. ‘He has not just inherited property and acting from NTR, but also his mission and vision’, says the comedy-hero highlighting Balayya’s Cancer Foundation work.
Ambica Krishna stated that he likes to call Balayya as Balakrishna only, as he is both ‘Baaludu’ and ‘Krishnudu’. His talk spread few laughs in the auditorium.
While veteran actor Kota Sirnivas Rao too praised Balayya for his honest character, he joked on Chakri about his obesity. ‘Chakri is so fatty outside and even is his heart, a wide and warm one. I like him personally’, he said.
Lyricst Chandrabose stole everyone’s heart with his emotional one liner. ‘When thousands of fans are waiving at Balayya, he is in turn waiving his hand at me. That’s the respect he gives for poets and lyricists’, feels Chandrabose.
‘Acting in a single scene beside Balayya is enough. But getting a whole movie is a matter of pride’, says heroine Isha Chawla, adding that she got tears rolled out of eyes after looking at the supportiveness of Balakrishna.
Music director Chakri congratulated everyone for giving him this opportunity after ‘Simha’. However he imitated Balayya’s dialogue of Simha to enthral fans. ‘Only your ears should work, otherwise I’ll not talk’, he stated. (Mee chevulu maatramey pani cheyali, kaadani inkaemaina panichestey, nenu matladatam aapesta). He danced with him on stage.
We all know that Balayya will steal the show at the end and it happened today also. He spoke about each and every technician of the film with patience and praised one and all. Maybe this is one quality that is lacking in many other heroes of Tollywood.
‘For the first time I’m playing the role of journalist. I’m proud of this extraordinary role that exposes many illegal things daringly’, says Balayya about the role, before stressing that Ravi Chawali is the true hero of this movie. ‘You’ll see a new Balakrishna in this flick, created by a new team’, he added. Balayya has taken a dig at Telugu movie titles that are being named with stupid words. ‘Some people are spoiling Telugu movie names with their madness. But Srimannarayana is not like that’, he said.
Balakrishna fans honoured him Gajamala gifted him Vishnu chakram and silver kurukshetram .
Tollywood movie lovers and general public were aghast when national awards for 2011 were announced. Many critics and people expected two or three national awards including the best film award. However they were shell shocked to find ‘Dirty Picture’ sweeping the awards while the jury decided not to announce any award under telugu films category. Many people criticised the jury members for their decision and some even attached motives to them. Many felt that awards can be manged using political influence and monetary benefits, what so ever it may be.
When Bapu and Balakrishna announced to make ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’ many expected a film on the lines of superhit ‘Lavakusa’. True, they made a film which won the hearts of many. A careful analysis from jury point of view was that Bapu made innumerous films on Ramayana. Mythological movie lovers expected a new magical flick from him but he presented them graphical wonder. The film ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’ was fully loaded with graphics and gives us a feeling that the film is just a remake of hit ‘Lavakusa’ with little bit of changes in the script which are there for everyone to see.Balakrishna just underwent the movements and acting expressions of his dad NTR and didnot try to do anything new.
Members of the Jury for National awards will surely take all these facts into consideration before finalising awards. Already ‘Lavakusa’ won n number of awards are many film festivals and it will be not fair to shower the remake film with many more awards.

General notion is that critics murder the fate of a movie at Box Office and the Manchu sister and brother stressed this earlier. The same hero is now feeling that the murder is taking place in Rythu Bazar also.
While Manoj is trying to fight piracy of his latest movie 'Uh Kodatara Ulikki Padatara' with a single hand, pirates are not giving him sleep anymore. Disgustingly, UKUP pirated version CDs are being sold in Guntur Rythu Bazar for 50 rupees. In a sting operation conducted by anti-piracy cell and a popular TV channel, this incident came to lime light.
'We felt only critics are murdering UKUP but now it is getting murdered in Rythu Bazars. This piracy is more heinous that a murder even', says Manoj, while reacting about the news. 'We are enjoying the success of our movie by touring various centres in Andhra. But these kinds of news are disturbing us', feels Lakshmi Manchu.
While UKUP is facing such huge blows, star-director who made hulchul a couple of weeks back regarding piracy is sitting calm. Piracy can be fought united!

When it comes to gauging the final collection report for any film, the overseas collections play a crucial role. So, a lot of work goes in promoting the films abroad and there is also the system of heroes and their market value in places like USA, UK while selling the overseas rights.
But here is one information which is causing a big surprise. It is heard that in overseas (only USA) the film ‘Devudu Chesina Manushulu’ starring Ravi Teja got sold for around 70 lacks. On the contrary, the new movie ‘Sreemanarayana’ starring Nandamuri Balakrishna has reportedly been sold for 30-35 lacks.
This gives rise to a crucial question - Is Balayya’s value Half of Ravi Teja in overseas??? The overseas trade analysts say “It has nothing to do with image. Balayya still commands good following but the last few movies of his have been going through a slump. For Ravi Teja, the plus point is the Puri Jagannadh factor and Ileana factor.”
In an interview for a popular TV channel, Manchu Laxmi got a chance to interview Balakrishna as a part of newly released movie Uu Kodathara Uliki Padathara, has literally confused him by her talk.
Manchu Laxmi who praised Balakrishna him saying He is the only actor who can do any kind of character, Very much down to earth, Producers friendly, energetic…etc. All these blushes did not confuse him. Balakrishna just smiled and said I don’t like to take praises to my mind as they always make you to feel superior.
But the moment Laxmi called him ‘Uncle’ at the end of the interview, one could see a confused expression on Balakrishna’s face as she was calling him Annayya throughout the interview. Later he recovered within second and as usual gave a length answer for her question. Don’t know why Manchu family has a habit to call all our young heroes with a word ‘Uncle’ which our heroes hate the most and this is not the first time. They even called Nagarjuna and he said, to call him just Nag.
